Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, focusing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients, participating actively in treatment meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and seminars to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse client base, including children, adults, couples, and families. You will have the opportunity to address various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing counseling service, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
