About the Role

aFit is seeking a Clinical Domain Project Manager to support a large-scalehealthcare technology implementation focused on pharmacy benefit administrationand clinical operations.

This role is ideal for a project manager who brings a strong background inpharmacy benefits, PBM environments, healthcare consulting, healthcare IT,or pharmacy operations. The team is currently moving from requirements gatheringinto the design and build phase of a fast-paced implementation initiative,creating an opportunity for a skilled professional to help drive delivery,coordination, and execution.

We are open to candidates who bring either deep project management expertiseor strong clinical and pharmacy domain knowledge, with the ideal candidateoffering a combination of both.

What You'll DoProject Coordination & Execution

Lead project planning and delivery activities across a complex healthcare implementation.

  • Build and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Support implementation efforts from design through go-live
  • Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions
Reporting, Measurement & Performance Tracking

Provide visibility into project health and ensure stakeholders stay informed.

  • Develop and deliver status reports
  • Track project risks, issues, and action items
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines
  • Escalate concerns and roadblocks as needed
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Partner with cross-functional teams to support successful implementation outcomes.

  • Work closely with engagement leadership and project teams
  • Assist with requirements clarification and alignment
  • Coordinate communication among business and technical stakeholders
  • Support decision-making through effective project governance
Data Strategy & Clinical Operations

Apply pharmacy benefit and clinical domain expertise to project activities.

  • Support efforts involving pharmacy benefit administration processes
  • Help classify and interpret pharmacy-related requirements and data
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to implementation discussions
  • Assist teams in understanding Medicaid pharmacy benefit requirements when applicable
