Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT)

Location: Maryland
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year + full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

What the Role Looks Like

You'll work with individuals, couples, and families through scheduled video appointments. Sessions may focus on relationship difficulties, family conflict, communication problems, emotional stress, or major changes at home or in a client's personal life. The role gives you responsibility for your caseload and clinical decisions while working from a remote setting. Time outside of sessions will be used for case notes, treatment updates, and coordination when additional support is needed.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant family and clinical history
  • Determine treatment priorities and establish appropriate goals
  • Use marriage and family therapy approaches suited to each case
  • Review treatment and make changes when clinically appropriate
  • Complete progress notes and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Respond appropriately to safety or risk concerns
  • Coordinate referrals or additional services when needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow Maryland professional requirements

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field
  • Active Maryland LCMFT license
  • Clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills
