• Provide direct clinical support to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both remotely and, when necessary, in the community.
• Engage in evidence-based assessment, ensuring that client evaluations are developmentally appropriate, timely, and thorough.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that facilitate access to necessary services and promote collaboration among clients, families, and community providers.
• Conduct brief therapeutic interventions, crisis management, and recovery services, tailoring approaches to meet the individual needs of clients.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and ensuring adherence to set admission and discharge criteria.
• Maintain compliance with professional ethical standards and the organizational code of conduct, creating a supportive and safe environment for clients.
• Participate in committee meetings aimed at improving service delivery, outcomes, and overall quality of care.
• Fulfill on-call coverage responsibilities during assigned hours, ensuring accessible support for clients in need.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance team skills in client engagement and therapeutic techniques.

Your primary focus will be on clients associated with our hospice center, many of whom grapple with significant mental health challenges. As a clinician, you will work closely with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that care is culturally competent and sensitive to varying beliefs and traditions. The ability to establish rapport and trust with clients will be essential for successful outcomes.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Active LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts is required.
• Expert knowledge in assessment and treatment of mental health issues, particularly risk assessment and crisis management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication, facilitating clear and effective exchanges with clients and team members.
