Responsibilitiesโข Develop and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
โข Gather and analyze technical requirements from stakeholders across the organization
โข Develop and maintain data models to support analytics, reporting, and self-service BI
โข Provide ongoing administration, tuning, and support for Power BI and related tools
โข Establish and promote standards for report design, data modeling, and data visualization
โข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and alignment across systems and reporting solutions
โข Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to business leaders
โข Support and influence data governance, documentation, and data quality initiatives
โข Contribute to the design and evolution of data architecture, including data transformations and pipeline development using tools such as dbt or similar frameworks
โข Mentor and guide less experienced analysts, fostering best practices in BI development and data modeling
โข Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics
Qualificationsโข Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
โข 5+ years of relevant data analyst experience
โข Advanced experience building scalable, insight-driven dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, including performance optimization and troubleshooting
โข Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, including user experience (UX) design and storytelling with data
โข Experience developing and maintaining standards for report design, performance, and usability
โข Solid knowledge of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling and semantic layer design
โข Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
โข Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
โข Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and layered data architectures.
โข Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt)
โข Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
โข Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices is a plus
