Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Employ evidence-based treatment modalities, tailored to each client's unique circumstances, to facilitate effective communication and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, outlining clear objectives that align with their mental health needs.
• Help clients gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and relationship dynamics, guiding them toward healthier coping mechanisms.
• Regularly monitor each client's progress throughout the therapeutic journey, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal support and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable and low-acuity adults who are navigating various life challenges, including anxiety, stress, and life transitions exacerbated by the current socio-economic climate. Your skills will be essential in helping these individuals regain control over their mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possession of a current state-issued mental health counseling license to practice independently. Please include your credentials and licensed state in your application.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is mandatory.
• No limited/provisional licenses, with no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
• Strong proficiency in digital communication tools; candidates must have reliable access to a computer with a webcam and audio capabilities.
• A stable and reliable internet connection to facilitate smooth video conferencing sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse client populations, including those affected by socio-economic stressors or recent life changes.
• Familiarity with teletherapy best practices and online counseling tools.
• Prior experience in developing treatment plans and conducting progress evaluations within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
