Job description

Technical Solution Analyst

Align HCM is looking for a Technical Solution Analyst who will be responsible for bridging the gap between client business requirements and scalable technology solutions. The primary focus of the role is integration analysis and solution design, leveraging data-driven insights and modern tooling, including AI, to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end integration analysis, including gathering requirements, mapping data flows, and identifying system dependencies across client environments.
  • Lead solution design activities, translating complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable architecture and integration specifications.
  • Apply a data analyst mindset to evaluate integration performance, surface anomalies, and recommend improvements based on data evidence.
  • Leverage and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance solution quality, accelerate delivery, and solve client challenges more effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal consultants and client project teams to deliver enterprise-level HCM solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including design specifications, data dictionaries, and test plans.
  • Manage and resolve integration issues in a timely and solution-oriented manner.
  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships with clients by demonstrating technical depth and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Strong data analyst mindset with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI platforms, ML libraries, or AI-assisted development environments) and a genuine enthusiasm for expanding this knowledge and applying it on the job.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business scenarios and understand the technology implications of client requirements.
  • Solution-oriented approach with a proactive, "make it happen" attitude and the ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, clients, and deadlines concurrently.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Python, including experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and scripting for integration or automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with integration analysis and solution design across enterprise systems.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience in an HCM or enterprise software environment.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with UKG Pro, Dayforce, Workday, ADP, or similar HCM platforms.
  • Experience with Dell Boomi or comparable iPaaS integration platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data pipeline tooling.
