This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional mental health services. While you will work primarily from home, the role involves close collaboration with a team of professionals, including other mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers. Current technology and secure telehealth systems are in place to support effective communication and interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Facilitate therapeutic individual and group counseling sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that involve regular assessment and monitoring of client progress.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Follow up with clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care and effective reintegration into outpatient services.
• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that may obstruct client recovery, employing evidence-based interventions to foster positive outcomes.
• Engage with family members and primary caregivers, providing support and guidance in managing mental health challenges.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in a clinical setting, ideally as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar capacity.
• Strong understanding of medications prescribed for mental health treatment and their implications on counseling.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
