Position Overview: 
 
The Cloud Client Executive is a senior sales consulting professional who is responsible for selling cloud and AI solutions to help customers meet business objectives. They manage client relationships and provide cloud & AI services and technology solutions. They work with clients to identify their needs and goals, delivery solutions, and ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. They work with sales to generate leads and with pre-sales to architect cloud solutions. The Cloud Client Executive is responsible for finding new business opportunities, engaging new clients or prospects, working with pre-sales to develop proposals and handling the contract processes.
 
What you’ll do as the Cloud Client Executive:

This is a remote role focused on customers in the North Central and Northeast regions; we require someone to reside in these regions to facilitate travel of up to 40% as needed.  
 
  • Identify and cultivate new cloud business opportunities to drive cloud/AI sales, consumption, and services.
  • Develop relationships with c-suite and business decision makers with clients in assigned region.
  • Drive AI/Cloud growth in assigned key markets through a combination of evangelism, public speaking, sales and lead generation, and working with key OEMs.
  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty through tailored cloud services and technology solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding and addressing client’s unique challenges and aligning Zones Cloud solutions with their business goals.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to target potential clients and grow Cloud/AI sales
  • Understand client needs and collaborating with internal teams to propose and close cloud solutions to meet clients needs.
  • Build relationships with key OEMs to drive co-selling and partnership.
  • Act as the binding role between sales and pre-sales for strategic full stack solutions for clients.
  • Build and drive pipeline for AI/Cloud solutions while exceeding revenue and profit goal targets.
  • Be the primary contact for all AI/cloud solutions.
  • Help create client-facing business development activities, case studies, and demand generation. Estimated travel time: 50%
What you will bring to the team: 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent amount of relevant experience.
  • 5 years in cloud consulting where you assess business drivers and translate them into solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling cloud solutions in customer facing sales environments.
  • One or more of the following preferred certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Foundational, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.  
  • Experience in technical services sales
  • Deep technical knowledge of AI, Cloud and Native Cloud, FinOps, DevOps, and Consulting services.
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • An ability to gain access and influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to realize sales objectives.
  • Presentation and advanced communications skills.
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 + bonus.
