The clients you will serve at Pathways Counseling Services range widely in their ages and backgrounds, presenting with various concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our community health clinic model allows therapists to build rapport and work individually or in groups with clients, fostering an environment of trust and respect.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to counseling practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and create therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples therapy is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, based on the counselor's caseload.
