This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from your home while engaging with clients through secure telehealth platforms. Our community health clinic operates as an outpatient counseling center, supporting a diverse population of clients with various mental health needs. • Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to gather information that informs personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work with clients on an appointment basis to effectively manage scheduling and adhere to their preferences and needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participate in continued education and stay informed about the latest research in mental health to enhance service delivery.

The clients you will be serving range from children to seniors, experiencing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your interventions will help them navigate their unique experiences, fostering resilience and growth. You’ll work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, employing culturally competent practices to ensure they receive the support they need.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical environment.
• Proficient knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a record of building rapport with clients.
• Cultural competence to work with diverse populations and address their specific mental health needs.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms for effective documentation and client engagement.
• A history of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
