Position Summary:
The Claims Processor is responsible for accurate and timely processing of claims which includes claims for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Retiree plans, Lifestyle Accounts, Parking and more. The position requires working with our claims team to ensure that participant claims are handled accurately and promptly.
Core Competencies:
  • Understand and follow all claims procedures
  • Stay up to date on all applicable regulations related to claims processing.
  • Collaborate with the claims team to optimize efficiency.
  • Handle confidential information according to all HIPAA legislation.
  • Enter, adjudicate and audit claims following internal process and procedure.
  • Provide excellent experience for our participants and clients.
  • Perform claims adjustments per internal procedure.
  • Perform any other duties, pertaining to the business needs as assigned by Department Manager.

Requirements:
  • Be a self-starter who can take initiative.
  • Superior written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Be highly detail-oriented and possess strong multitasking and time management.
  • Highly organized, embracing challenges and workflow changes.
  • Work well under stressful situations and handle a large client book with high call and email volumes at times.
  • Ability to set and exceed expectations.

Credentials & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in reviewing and processing claims.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Flexible Spending Accounts with a previous TPA.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements governing pre-tax benefits. IRS Sections 125, 105, and 132.
  • Associates Degree preferred

Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
