Job description

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is currently seeking several contract case intake specialists to support one of our large corporate clients.


Start: ASAP

Duration: long-term, ongoing work, open-ended

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Fully Remote


The Intake Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for new matters and legal notifications for the Client legal team. They are responsible for gathering personal, financial, or other relevant details related to incoming legal matters. Creating matters, assigning to the appropriate legal professional based on jurisdiction, and gathering related documents from Client Systems.  Ultimately staging them for the legal professional while ensuring compliance with all federal and state privacy regulations. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Matter Creation: Collecting notifications via physical mail, email, or in-person and assisting other departments on the engagement of the Legal Team.
  • Data Collection & Verification: Gathering, verifying, and updating client demographic, purchase history, or other related information.
  • Documentation & Compliance:  Processing intake forms, obtaining necessary signatures, and maintaining confidentiality .
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling appointments and coordinating with internal staff or external partners to facilitate service
  • Record Maintenance: Ensuring all information is accurately entered into Client's Matter Management system or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization & Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and database management. Use of Salesforce, Box, and automotive industry tools such as TechLine and DBS
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work with distressed or diverse populations with empathy.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is required, in a related field is preferred.
