Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand each child’s unique needs.
  • Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
  • Monitoring child and family outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Providing essential support to families, sharing strategies and resources that promote their child’s development.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment approaches.
  • Administering and interpreting evaluations effectively and empathetically.
  • Building trusting relationships with children and families, creating a supportive learning environment.
  • Implementing training and education sessions for families to empower them in enhancing their child's development.
  • Adapting interventions based on the unique learning styles and needs of each child.
  • Following Natural Learning Environment Practices in service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will center on assisting infants and toddlers, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. You will play a crucial role in the development of children during these formative years, focusing on enhancing their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By working closely with families, you will foster an environment where children can flourish developmentally and socially.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • A valid license from the Department of Public Health as an LCSW.
