  • Develop, review, and approve process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, heat and material balances, process calculations, hydraulic analyses, and technical basis documents.
  • Perform and oversee equipment sizing for vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, piping systems, process utilities, control valves, relief devices, and related process equipment.
  • Support process safety activities, hazard reviews, operability reviews, design reviews, safety basis interfaces, and implementation of credited process controls.
  • Lead development of process design criteria, system descriptions, specifications, datasheets, procurement packages, and vendor technical evaluations.
  • Coordinate with piping, I&C, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, civil/structural, radiological controls, criticality safety, quality, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
  • Review vendor data, resolve technical comments, evaluate design changes, and provide engineering support during procurement, construction, testing, startup, and commissioning.
  • Mentor process engineers and designers while maintaining technical quality, schedule alignment, configuration control, and client expectations.

Requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead process design work and coordinate engineering deliverables across multiple disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of process hazards, design basis development, system operability, configuration control, and regulated facility requirements.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, leadership, review, and issue-resolution skills.
