Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll serve as an advisor and advocate for a portfolio of personal lines clients, ensuring each household receives proactive, exceptional service
  • You’ll manage renewals, coverage changes, and retention with confidence while leveraging your product knowledge to identify gaps, improve protection, and deliver peace of mind
  • You'll leverage the tools available to you to offer options, add additional lines, and retain our existing book of business


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of personal lines business with attention and care
  • Proactively review renewals and negotiate with carriers to ensure competitive coverage/pricing and present options to insureds
  • Analyze coverage and compare/present options to insureds
  • Build long-term client relationships through consultative conversations and responsiveness
  • Assist clients with new policies, changes, and claims with empathy and urgency
  • Educate clients on coverage options and risk prevention strategies
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and rounding out accounts
  • Partner with team, agency leadership, and underwriters to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction
  • Remain current on carrier appetite, market trends, and technology tools
  • Work with high-net-worth clients on their growing portfolio of assets
  • Ask for Google Reviews and Life Insurance

Qualifications:

What You Need

  • 3+ years experience in an Independent Agency (IA channel), personal lines account management
  • Deep knowledge of carriers, coverage forms, and rating practices
  • Active P&C License
  • Life License preferred
  • Proficiency in the agency's management system, AMS360, and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage renewals and retention strategies
  • A genuine care for people — you enjoy Championing Relationships and Getting It Done right
  • Experience working with insureds in the State of TN
