Job description

AI Native Developer Lead/Architect
Position: Contract
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Lead Developer to design, develop, and lead innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Java, Spring Boot, and React, along with hands-on experience delivering at least one end-to-end AI/ML project in production. You will play a key role in architecting intelligent applications, mentoring teams, and driving best practices in AI engineering.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Machine Learning
  • Design and implement scalable AI/ML solutions (NLP, Computer Vision, or Predictive Analytics).
  • Lead at least one end-to-end AI project lifecycle (data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring).
  • Integrate AI models into enterprise applications using REST APIs and microservices.
  • Evaluate and adopt modern AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs, etc.).

Backend Development
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build secure, scalable APIs for AI model consumption.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

Frontend Development
  • Build intuitive and responsive UI using React.js.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend AI services.
  • Ensure seamless user experience for AI-powered features.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Strong programming expertise in Python and Java.
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
  • Frontend development experience with React.js.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as:
    • TensorFlow / PyTorch / Scikit-learn
    • NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Experience in RESTful API development and cloud integration (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

AI Experience (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience in delivering at least one AI-based project in production, such as:
    • Chatbot / Conversational AI
    • Recommendation system
    • Fraud detection model
    • Image or speech recognition system

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) and Generative AI.
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.).
