Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual therapy sessions via video chat, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported within a virtual environment.
• Utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to tailor interventions according to the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Developing and refining individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' mental health statuses and aspirations.
• Facilitating clients' self-reflection by guiding them to gain insights into their experiences, emotional responses, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitoring clients' progress against established treatment goals and adapting the treatment plan as necessary, while empowering clients to cultivate healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present a wide range of mental health needs. This entails addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and everyday life challenges. Your expertise in providing tailored therapeutic interventions will play a pivotal role in enhancing clients' quality of life and helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in Massachusetts as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No disciplinary actions or limited/provisional licenses on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong empathetic approach to therapy.
• Competence in using digital platforms; strong computer literacy skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Previous work with diverse populations, particularly in a virtual format.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities and an understanding of various mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and flexibility of hours worked. Additional benefits include:
