Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individualized mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat.
• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities to address the specific needs of each client.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that identify therapeutic goals and measurable outcomes.
• Engage clients in developing insights about their feelings, experiences, and relationships.
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary to foster healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve stable, low-acuity adults who present a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals build essential life skills aimed at enhancing their overall quality of life. By offering guidance and support, you will contribute to their journeys toward improved mental wellness.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Full licensure as a mental health professional, including one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No disciplinary actions on your license and a commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and active listening abilities.
• Strong computer literacy, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and electronic health records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have experience in:

• Providing mental health counseling via telehealth.
• Working with diverse populations and adapting interventions to meet varying cultural and individual needs.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment modalities that align with best practices in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits for full-time counselors include:
