Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring ethical standards and compassionate care are upheld throughout each interaction.
• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, fostering an environment of trust and understanding.
• Develop and document personalized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by clients.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Assist clients in cultivating effective coping mechanisms that empower them to manage their mental health outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with stable adults facing low acuity mental health challenges. Our clients come with diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health needs. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals develop the skills and strategies necessary to improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Must possess one of the following licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – all candidates must hold a fully registered license to practice independently without supervision.
• No limited or provisional licenses will be considered, and applicants must have no prior disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Strong computer literacy to navigate our all-in-one therapy platform with ease.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy or working with adult clients in low acuity settings will be given preference. Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques is advantageous.
