Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at promoting mental health recovery and resilience. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gauge patients’ trauma history and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address specific trauma recovery goals and resilience-building strategies.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to engage actively in processing their trauma and developing coping strategies.
• Collaborating with a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care for each patient.
• Delivering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely help and guidance.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and discussing available community resources.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve range from young adults to seniors, all navigating various trauma-related challenges. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and exhibit flexibility in treatment approaches.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value enthusiasm and a commitment to professional development in candidates looking to grow in this field.

Compensation and Benefits
