This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while making significant contributions to our client’s mental health journeys. You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and therapists, ensuring that patient care is comprehensive and coordinated. Regular virtual meetings and consultations provide a platform for team support, professional growth, and sharing insights about patient care.

• Deliver psychotherapy sessions to patients grappling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct thorough and meaningful assessments of patients’ mental health, evaluating their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate with healthcare partners, actively engaging in treatment team discussions to adjust care plans based on patient progress and interdisciplinary feedback.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are culturally competent and based on clinical best practices, ensuring each patient’s unique circumstances are addressed.
• Provide education and empowerment to patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community support resources.
• Maintain meticulous patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to confidentiality standards.
• Commit to ethical and professional standards within your practice, including obtaining informed consent and fostering trust in the therapeutic relationship.

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, from acute crises to ongoing conditions requiring sustained support. Many patients may have complex histories that involve trauma, necessitating a sensitive, trauma-informed approach to care. Your role is pivotal in facilitating their journeys toward recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least two years of professional experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, with a proven ability to work with diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to foster therapeutic relationships and effectively collaborate within a clinical team.
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing actionable treatment strategies.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and mental health documentation processes.
• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders, coupled with empathy and respect for patients' individual experiences and backgrounds.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and ethical practice within all interactions.

• Prior experience in teletherapy and adapting therapeutic techniques for virtual care settings.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral processes within the Fort Lauderdale area.
• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
