This position allows for a remote work setting, where you will connect with clients through virtual platforms. • Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including personalized practices for stress reduction and emotional balance tailored to each client's individual needs.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client stressors, challenges, and specific therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using mindfulness techniques such as guided meditation, breath awareness, and reflective practices.
• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and stress management techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create integrated treatment strategies that include mindfulness practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in mindfulness and mental health therapy.

Our community health clinic serves a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, and other mental health challenges. Many clients seek therapy to improve their coping strategies, manage stress, and develop resilience. You will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care, empowering clients to take charge of their mental health journeys.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• Strong foundation in therapeutic practices with a specific focus on mindfulness integration.
• Excellent communication skills capable of fostering a supportive and calming therapeutic relationship.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in relevant fields is preferred.
• Previous training or experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness techniques is advantageous.
• Experience working in a telehealth or remote therapy environment is a plus.
