Job description

About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what youโ€™ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year โ€“ far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

Rampโ€™s Franchise Channel is seeing rapid growth, and as an early member of the team, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to help scale the go-to-market engine and strategy that fuels a key growth driver for the company. At Ramp, we are looking for candidates with a proven track record of acquiring and building net new relationships with corporate and franchise partners, enabling and onboarding their businesses, and achieving consistent quota attainment and overachievement through strategic relationship development.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Source, qualify and conduct deep discovery with net new Franchise partners

  • Sign partners and create comprehensive GTM plans

  • Drive revenue for Ramp through generating referrals from franchisors and franchisees

  • Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within an organization

  • Educate partners on Rampโ€™s offering and articulate the value props

  • Hold monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners

  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients and inform our product roadmap

  • Become an expert in Rampโ€™s product, features, and workflows

  • Build new (and improve existing) workflows and sales motions to contribute to our teamโ€™s continued success

What You Need
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in Partner Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, or Channel Partnerships

  • Strong discovery skills, with a knack for identifying pain points and consultative selling

  • History as a top performer, regularly exceeding targets and quotas

  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent listening skills

  • Bias for action and strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can build relationships across the company

  • Experience with and affinity for AI tooling that empowers your work

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

Nice-to-Haves
  • Prior experience partnering with both franchisors and franchisees in a consulting, sales, or partnerships capacity

โ€ข Unlimited AI token usage

โ€ข Centralized home-office equipment ordering

โ€ข Health and wellness stipend
