Blizzard Entertainment's Hearthstone Marketing Team is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to support Hearthstone's global publishing and product marketing initiatives.

We are seeking someone with strong organizational and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about marketing and gaming.

This role is ideal for an experienced product marketer who is passionate about mobile games, liveservice ecosystems, and playerfirst storytelling, and who thrives in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.

NOTE: This is a temporary position for 6 months. The candidate will ideally be based in Irvine; however, remote candidates within the United States will also be considered.

Some travel may be required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Brand projects directly with internal creative partners and external agency partners to identify product creative strategy and ensure all communications materials deliver against that strategy. This includes the day-to-day management of the external creative agency and internal creative partners to help ensure we're operating at optimal levels.

  • Manage Hearthstone's creative pipeline, creating amazing content across all consumer touchpoints, including owned and operated channels, live events, and storefront activities.

  • Drive brand and tentpole marketing campaigns to promote Hearthstone, with a focus on social trends and digital channels.

  • Drive project management pipelines for overall schedules and deadlines, and review agency estimates for services. Plus, you'll help us manage trafficking/approvals processes and asset needs and distribution to international offices.

  • Build creative briefings for key art, logos, and other branded assets, and attend subsequent creative reviews to provide feedback and direction.

  • Collaborate for retrospective campaign analysis and lean on results to evolve future projects.

  • Communicate and motivate cross-functional teams around a single strategy. Collaborate with key development team personnel on go-to-market strategies and creative asset development.

  • Assist with content pipeline and brand review of User Acquisition and Storefront assets.

  • Able to learn new markets quickly and adjust to changing market dynamics and competitive landscapes.

  • Create the messaging strategy and write copy for UA creatives, mobile store pages, and owned and operated channels.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, creative agency account management, or related fields; mobile publishing experience a plus.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies, communicating feedback clearly and effectively; strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong strategic and creative thinking.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to reprioritize under shifting deadlines.

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing stakeholder needs effectively.

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to balance inputs from multiple teams and drive aligned strategies.

  • Passion for gaming, particularly across PC and mobile platforms.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations.
