  • Support Sales and customer discussions with product strategy, positioning, and technical/commercial expertise
  • Lead product management activities for new product introductions and lifecycle decisions, partnering cross-functionally on manufacturability, capacity, quality, timing, tooling, materials, and cost
  • Collect, clean, and analyze product line performance, including sales, margins, pricing, forecasts, backlog, and inventory, to identify risks and growth opportunities
  • Develop actionable recommendations that improve profitability, pricing strategy, inventory performance, and customer service
  • Monitor commodity markets, including copper, and support pricing adjustments and metals escalation programs
  • Review customer pricing and ensure price lists reflect approved commercial agreements, cost inputs, and margin objectives
  • Develop dashboards and analytical tools using ERP systems (Oracle & S2K), Excel, and business intelligence platforms to improve business visibility
  • Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Strategic Account Managers to drive informed business decisions
  • Present business performance, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in product management, commercial analytics, demand planning, supply chain, pricing, or a similar analytical role within manufacturing or industrial distribution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating sales, margins, inventory, forecasting, pricing, and operational performance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP and business intelligence systems
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to translate complex business data into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to work remotely within the Eastern or Central time zone and travel approximately quarterly
  • Ability to travel approximately quarterly, primarily to GCG facilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience with custom cable assemblies, wire and cable products, or other engineered electrical products

  • Comprehensive health coverage with multiple plan options (CDHP and PPO)
  • Company-paid life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, and supplemental insurance options
