Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focused on improving clients' mental health and well-being.
• Encouraging clients to explore their feelings and life experiences, fostering greater self-awareness and insight into their relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by defining clear, attainable goals and guiding them through the process of achieving those goals.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health statuses to develop appropriate treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and solution-focused strategies drawn from your clinical knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will consist primarily of stable adults with low acuity mental health needs. All clients are pre-screened to ensure that they are appropriate for telehealth services and do not present severe mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to choose your preferred demographics, allowing you to work with clients you feel most comfortable supporting.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer literacy skills, with the ability to navigate counseling platforms and engage effectively in telehealth environments.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will also exhibit:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Experience in conducting virtual counseling sessions, including familiarity with telehealth best practices and counseling methodologies.
• Competence in making sound clinical evaluations and crafting treatment plans that enhance client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on hours worked.
