About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a reputable substance abuse treatment center committed to providing holistic care to those on their recovery journey. Our mission is to empower individuals battling addiction to achieve long-lasting sobriety through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based practices. Our team of licensed therapists is at the forefront of this mission, leveraging their expertise to create significant, positive shifts in our clients' lives.

Work Environment

This position operates in a predominantly remote setting, allowing therapists to facilitate sessions through telehealth platforms. Our virtual environment is designed for safety and accessibility, ensuring that clients can receive care wherever they are most comfortable. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular virtual meetings to assess treatment progress and share strategies that promote client success. You will also receive ongoing support and supervision to enhance your therapeutic skills in a rich collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse histories, utilizing standardized tools to gather comprehensive data.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying mental health conditions, tailoring interventions to meet varying client needs.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI), ensuring sessions are interactive and client-centered.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, psychologists, and case managers to create an integrated support network, promoting coordinated care that enhances recovery outcomes.
  • Provide educational resources and support for clients’ families, fostering a supportive environment that encourages family involvement in the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance abuse and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may have varying levels of readiness for change. Your expertise and sensitivity will be pivotal in helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery while addressing related psychological needs.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Specialized training in addiction counseling, preferably with documented experience in substance abuse treatment modalities.
  • Strong therapeutic techniques, with proven ability to establish rapport and motivate clients toward their recovery goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and platforms for delivering remote care is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling role, particularly focused on substance abuse or mental health treatment.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support networks for clients transitioning from treatment to independent living.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to effectively manage high-stress situations typical in mental health environments.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and generous paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Access to continuing education and professional development opportunities specifically related to addiction counseling and mental health best practices.
  • A supportive work environment where you are encouraged to develop your skills further through ongoing training and peer supervision.
  • Make an impactful contribution to clients’ lives, guiding them toward recovery and sustained sobriety.
