Job Title: Senior Data Center Network Engineer

Contract Type / Duration:

New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week)

Job Summary / Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Data Center Network Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise and data center networking experience to support a large-scale data center decommissioning and infrastructure consolidation initiative. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Cisco networking technologies, brownfield data center environments, migration planning, and network modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate has personally executed network device decommissioning, traffic migrations, and infrastructure upgrades within complex enterprise environments.

Top Required Skills (Ranked):

  1. Advanced Cisco Data Center Networking (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ACI, Routing & Switching)
  2. Data Center Decommissioning, Migration Planning, and Infrastructure Consolidation

  • Migrate legacy infrastructure to modern data center platforms
  • Lead terminal server consolidation initiatives
  • Perform post-migration testing and validation activities
  • Operate within formal change management and CAB approval processes
  • Partner with infrastructure, operations, and project teams to coordinate migration activities
