The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic psychotherapy practice. This role offers a fully remote setting, making it convenient for therapists to deliver services from their own chosen environment while maintaining flexibility in their schedules. As part of our practice, you will leverage telehealth platforms for all client interactions, facilitating effective service delivery while ensuring that all administrative tasks, such as billing and scheduling, are handled by our support staff. This structure allows you to focus solely on your therapeutic work with clients.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of key responsibilities, including:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy for clients, applying various psychotherapeutic techniques based on individual needs.
• Operate within a framework of supervision from licensed psychologists, nurse practitioners, or physicians while providing clinical services.
• Engage in therapeutic practices such as crisis intervention, skills training, supportive therapy, and family counseling tailored to clients facing mental health and dual disorders.
• Assess treatment efficacy and determine appropriate levels of care, utilizing the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) for diagnostic evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning, strengthening our holistic patient care approach.
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes and reports, and liaise with other care providers to gather pertinent information to inform treatment plans.

The therapists at Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing diverse mental health challenges. Our client population often includes those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and dual diagnosis disorders requiring specialized attention. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent (Psy.D).
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.
• Have proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and navigating electronic health records for efficient client management.

While not required, candidates with experience in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or family systems therapy, will be highly regarded. Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with crisis intervention strategies will further strengthen your application.

We offer a competitive salary package with an annual salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
