Job Title: Zuora Developer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Skills: Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue + Java or other programming language
Description:
Senior Zuora Developer with hands-on experience in both Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue (RevPro). This role will be responsible for implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting subscription billing and revenue automation processes across the organization. Industry background is flexible, but practical experience with Zuora Billing and Revenue is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Configure, customize, and maintain Zuora Billing, including product catalog, rate plans, subscriptions, usage, invoicing, taxation, and payment workflows.
Develop and manage Zuora Revenue configurations: revenue rules, event frameworks, SSP setup, revenue schedules, and revenue automation logic.
Work closely with Finance, RevOps, and Engineering teams to optimize the SaaS subscription lifecycle, ensuring accuracy in billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.
Support end-to-end order-to-revenue processes, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes.
Build and maintain workflows, notifications, custom fields, and data mappings as needed for Zuora functionality.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure system changes follow best practices, compliance standards, and internal governance requirements.
Qualifications:
1+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing.
1+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro).
Proven track record as a senior-level developer or technical contributor working in subscription billing ecosystems.
Strong understanding of SaaS subscription lifecycle processes (subscription changes, renewals, amendments, cancellations, revenue implications).
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Zuora configurations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Zuora Billing or Zuora Revenue certification(s)
