• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Engage in continuing education, attend workshops, and participate in professional development initiatives to stay abreast of advancements in mental health care.

As an LPCC at Livingston Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Our clients include individuals, couples, and families seeking support to overcome personal challenges and improve their overall mental health. Your role will be crucial in creating safe spaces where clients can express their thoughts and feelings openly, fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
• At least two years of direct counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting, demonstrating your ability to connect with clients effectively.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use recovery will be highly regarded, enhancing your ability to address a broad range of client needs.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient environment or familiarity with telehealth practices is beneficial as we transition to more remote interactions.
