Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and compassionate mental health counseling through video conferencing, ensuring a positive therapeutic experience for clients.
• Conduct thorough ongoing assessments and collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and challenges.
• Facilitate the acquisition of coping, problem-solving, and communication skills in clients, encouraging their independence and self-efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while minimizing administrative tasks, allowing you to focus more on direct patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Resilient Waves, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who are seeking support in managing everyday life stressors, emotional challenges, and personal relationships. Your role is critical in fostering a safe environment where clients can express their concerns and explore solutions through effective therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD, demonstrating your qualifications to practice independently.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Proficient interpersonal communication skills with an aptitude for remote counseling via technology.
• Stable internet connection, ensuring a seamless experience for virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in telehealth settings, showcasing your adaptability to remote patient care models.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms, helping streamline patient interactions.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health concerns will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with your experience and hours worked.
