• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools to identify mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients on their path to recovery.
• Collaborate with clients to establish specific therapeutic goals, consistently monitoring progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure accessibility by offering teletherapy options to clients who may prefer virtual sessions due to distance or other barriers, maintaining a high standard of compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and assessment results, in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards to uphold professionalism.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, engaging in training sessions and workshops to expand your clinical skills and stay informed about advancements in the field.

In this role, you will focus primarily on supporting individuals dealing with substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression. By creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, you will encourage clients to explore their feelings and experiences, ultimately facilitating healing and personal growth.

• A current and valid license in the state of Florida, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong therapeutic alliances and effective collaboration with clients.
• Empathy and compassion are essential, with a demonstrated ability to approach client challenges with understanding and a non-judgmental perspective.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to maintain a manageable caseload and fulfill administrative responsibilities effectively.

• Previous experience in a detox or substance rehabilitation setting is highly desirable, enhancing your understanding of the treatment challenges unique to this population.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology integration within therapy practices.
• Proven experience developing and implementing treatment plans and educational programs to support client empowerment.
