• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to document client history and assess mental, behavioral, and emotional health over the course of treatment.
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, integrating best practices in psychotherapy.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using a variety of therapeutic techniques appropriate for different populations and settings.
• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes and adherence to therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals to create comprehensive intervention strategies for clients.
• Provision of follow-up care for clients transitioning from inpatient settings, coordinating with the client’s support network for a smooth reintegration.
• Identify risky behaviors and work proactively to mitigate factors that may hinder recovery, supporting clients in developing healthier coping strategies.
• Act as a resource for family members and caregivers to help them manage mental and behavioral challenges faced by their loved ones.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with our organization, you will encounter a diverse client population that includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction disorders, relationship issues, and more. Our focus extends to all ages, meaning you will have the opportunity to engage with children, adolescents, adults, and families to build effective mental health support systems tailored to each demographic's unique needs.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrable previous experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, enhancing efficient documentation and client management.
• Understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, as well as addiction disorders, to provide comprehensive care.
• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to client welfare.

• Experience working in diverse clinical settings or community health environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care approaches.
• Previous experience in a remote counseling role, demonstrating your ability to maintain effective client relationships through virtual platforms.
