• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that may include pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and pharmaceutical treatment plans.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation in accordance with the regulatory standards and organizational policies to support compliance and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as per the clinical team’s guidelines to assess client needs and outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and advocate for positive behavior support strategies, enhancing client engagement and treatment efficacy.
• Participate in various licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining a strong alignment with established benchmarks for clinical excellence.
• Act as a liaison for clients with relevant service systems, governmental agencies, and community partners to facilitate comprehensive support and resource access.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote the organization’s objectives and adhere to contract requirements.
• Engage with local, state, and federal groups to advocate for mental health programs and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through workshops, presentations, and involvement in task forces to enhance your expertise.
• Promote the mission and values of Brightways Recovery Plus, ensuring decision-making aligns with our commitment to client-centered care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, supporting the broader goals of the organization.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with emotional health issues, substance use disorders, and developmental impairments. Our clients come from various backgrounds, requiring you to tailor your counseling approaches to meet their unique needs effectively. Your role is vital in helping individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their personal recovery goals.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.
• Must possess an Independent LMHC License issued by the state board.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate ideas and support clinical discussions.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to make informed, independent decisions based on best practices.

• Experience in working with diverse populations, particularly in community health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
• Prior involvement in quality improvement initiatives or accreditation processes is a plus.
