• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and formulate effective, individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, delivering these to individuals, couples, and family units to foster effective coping strategies.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that offer a foundation for community among patients experiencing similar mental health issues, creating a safe space for discussion and healing.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and holistic treatment for each patient, emphasizing continuity and active involvement in care decisions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support for patients during mental health emergencies, demonstrating the ability to respond effectively and compassionately in urgent situations.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards by keeping accurate and confidential patient documentation, ensuring a robust record-keeping practice.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights from your practice to enhance multidisciplinary approaches to mental health treatment.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and research in mental health practices, continually enhancing your knowledge base for improved patient outcomes.

You will work with a diverse client population across various demographics, providing culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects each patient's unique background and experiences. Your expertise will be essential in addressing a variety of mental health needs, from mild to severe conditions, in individual and group formats.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required. A Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and a range of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and design effective treatment plans.
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy, especially in community health settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating productive interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to function well within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experience in a remote work environment, successfully managing client relationships virtually.
• Previous work in community health clinics or outpatient settings, demonstrating a commitment to accessibility in mental health care.
• Participation in training or workshops on recent therapeutic techniques and treatment innovations.

Life Carriage Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
