Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus 2 years of related experience. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK to provision and manage AWS resources; Create and manage reusable Terraform modules to support modular and scalable infrastructure provisioning across multiple environments; Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, including configuration of deployments for scaling, load balancing, and fault tolerance; Automate infrastructure and operational workflows by developing Python software to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency. 100% remote work allowed.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $131,600 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
