Pyramid Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality mental health therapy to individuals and families affected by cancer. • The position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in work schedules while ensuring a supportive environment that fosters productivity and mental wellness.
• Regular collaboration with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and psycho-social support networks will be expected to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health status of patients, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the cultural and personal needs of each patient, ensuring that plans are regularly updated based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation in accordance with state regulations and internal protocols, utilizing current technology to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Work collaboratively with patients to develop and refine their treatment goals. Engage with families in the process to enhance understanding of the treatment pathway and support systems.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with other healthcare providers to create a seamless continuum of care for patients, ensuring that they have access to necessary resources.
• Provide mentorship and educational support for interns and students pursuing a career in the mental health field, fostering the next generation of healthcare providers.
• Engage in regular peer reviews and collaborative sessions aimed at enhancing the overall quality of care within the clinical team.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families dealing with the psychological impact of cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. The LCSW will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, requiring an understanding of varied cultural perspectives and sensitivities in mental health treatment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience in oncology care or trauma-informed practices is highly advantageous.

• Experience in providing outpatient therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated capability in working with interdisciplinary teams and understanding the complexities of patient needs.
• Previous experience developing educational resources and support materials for patients and their families is preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
