Job description

This is an Independent Contractor, 1099 position NOT an employment position with WeSPARK.
  • In-person and/or Virtual, part-time, contract (4-10 hours per week).

WeSPARK Cancer Support Center is seeking a Clinical Facilitator to facilitate support groups and conduct intake appointments. WeSPARK offers various support groups from ongoing treatment/metastatic, post-treatment, teen and young adult support to grief and caregiver support programs. We are currently looking for a facilitator who has experience with cancer patients, caregivers and/or experience with the general cancer population.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Required - LMFT or LCSW, minimum three years experience; health care field preferred.
  • Preferred, but not required - Fluent bilingual speaking and written (Spanish/English).
  • Required - Copy of License to Practice and Personal, Professional Liability Insurance.
  • Strong clinical assessment. Must be able to identify clinical risks and respond appropriately. Maintain standards of confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Maintain a positive, respectful and collaborative manner. Maintain good communications to ensure others have the necessary information.
  • Sensitivity to working with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrate great compassion for individuals with cancer and their loved ones.
  • Good organizational, communication, verbal/written skills and time management skills.
  • Must be computer-literate and familiar with a basic level of electronic records.
  • The schedule is set depending on the need.
