Position Overview

Pyramid Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a high-impact, full-time remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough virtual assessments to understand clients’ needs and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Psychodynamic Therapy, to promote emotional and psychological healing.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, helping clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while guiding them toward positive change.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with standards set by Pyramid Counseling Center and governing bodies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, communicating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.
• Stay informed about best practices in social work and mental health treatment, particularly in the context of detox and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients engaged in detoxification processes. These individuals often face complex behavioral health issues, and your interventions will play a pivotal role in their recovery journey. Prior experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and men’s mental health issues is valued, contributing to our commitment to inclusivity and understanding of diverse client backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license to practice in New York state.
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, specifically with adult populations.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and psychodynamic approaches.
• Possessing professional malpractice insurance is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect and build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing psychotherapy to clients aged 18 and older.
• Experience working with multicultural populations and an understanding of their unique challenges and needs.
• Familiarity with the nuances of addiction and recovery, particularly in a detox setting.
• Prior exposure to integrated care models and working in team-oriented environments.

Compensation and Benefits
