• Assess, diagnose, and evaluate the status of patients utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized care plans tailored to patients' cultural and specific needs.
• Monitor and assess patient progress continually, providing timely interventions to promote mental health stability and symptom reduction.
• Document treatment records, reports, and all clinical information accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing current technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and needs.
• Coordinate referrals and act as a liaison between patients and additional treatment providers, thus ensuring a well-rounded approach to care that adheres to patients' best interests.
• Deliver educational workshops and mentorship to students, interns, and fellow team members, thereby promoting a culture of growth and shared knowledge.
• Participate in peer reviews, clinical audits, and provide coaching to enhance team development as directed by your clinical supervisor.

This role specifically targets individuals and families grappling with the emotional and psychological effects of a cancer diagnosis. Understanding the complexities and sensitivity required in these circumstances is crucial, as you will be positively influencing the mental health landscape of this patient population. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, you will help empower clients to cope with their diagnoses and facilitate their journey towards recovery and improved mental well-being.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, providing outpatient mental health services, preferably to underserved populations.

• Experience in oncology or working with patients undergoing cancer treatment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, enhancing remote service delivery.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with team members and patients.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, reflecting the experience and expertise brought to our team.
