Job description

If you're looking for a traditional agency account services job, it's probably best that you stop reading now.

Smart, curious, creative, collaborative, driven and optimistic are just table stakes. We need CMO thinkers looking to push boundaries, help reimagine modern marketing and do career-defining work for some of the world's best-known brands.

We are an independent, truly integrated creative communications agency built to unlock maximum value for our clients and potential in our people. No working in silos or fighting for a seat at the table. No competing interests or incentives. One P&L and one office designed for integrated teams, not individual departments. Ideas come from everyone. Including you.

Our proposition starts with world-class strategists, creatives, producers and amplification specialists locking arms from the initial brief all the way through execution. It ensures organizing ideas are optimized for earned, shared, owned and paid media from the outset. And it ends with campaigns punching above their weight class because every element works harder by working together. That's where you come in.

At the center of our work are Integrated Campaign Managers who help ensure the overall success of our projects. Ideal candidates will have 4-8 years of communications or advertising agency experience leading accounts and projects and a deep knowledge of all facets of integrated campaigns. We're looking for students of the industry who can help serve as the voice of the client and uphold the standard for excellence for our work and client service.

If you like setting your sights on the next-to-impossible and inspiring teams to find the way forward, here's more detail about the role and the expectations that go along with it:

What you'll do:

  • Support Integrated Team Leads in successfully executing integrated campaigns and/or projects with budgets ranging from $500K- $2 million
  • Work cross-functionally to help bring innovative client campaigns and marketing initiatives to life across all channels
  • Help to ensure that all work is "on brief," on budget and meets established KPIs
  • Develop deep understanding of clients' business and needs
  • Work closely with Project Management and Integrated Producers to ensure the quality and efficiency of overall campaigns
  • Help to ensure that our work is flawless, that we've pushed ourselves as far as we can, and that everything that goes out the door meets the highest standard of excellence
  • Assist with the development of Fast Horse materials including pitch decks, presentations, recaps, etc.
  • Stay on top of industry trends to help inform pitches and client conversations
  • Spot opportunities and challenges before clients do and bring them unsolicited ideas and solutions
  • Make Fast Horse an indispensable partner and trusted resource to our clients

What you'll bring:

  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and organization skills
  • A strong grasp of strategy, creative and amplification (paid/earned/owned media) disciplines, along with the ability to push the work at every turn
  • Willingness to uphold Fast Horse values
  • You'll be a thought leader and proponent of the Fast Horse proposition who is willing to step out of your comfort zone

Find your passion and take on the biggest stages in our industry. That's what a career at Fast Horse offers.

About Fast Horse

Fast Horse is an independent, creative communications agency. Our work is grounded in organizing ideas that are disruptive, integrated and have the ability to connect in ways that are highly relevant and spur action. Clients like Audi, Schwan's, The Coca-Cola Company, Post, Heineken, General Mills, Deluxe Corporation and many more have entrusted us with some of their most high-profile brands and campaigns.

Campaigns we've executed in the last several years have been recognized as the best in the industry. We've earned multiple Effie Awards for our work with Newcastle Brown Ale and Diet Coke. We also collected a Cannes Lion two years in a row - proudly placing more coveted ad industry awards in a trophy case already filled with the PR industry's most sought-after honors, including Silver Anvils, PR Week Awards and SABREs.

Workplace/Compensation

Our workplace and culture give our people the flexibility and resources to thrive personally and professionally. Our award-winning headquarters in the Minneapolis North Loop neighborhood is set up to facilitate communication and collaboration and our team members are untethered by a designated office or desk. We offer a hybrid workplace that has us collaborating, learning, mentoring, building trusting relationships and having fun in the office three days a week. Mondays and Fridays offer the option for remote work days.

We offer highly competitive salaries and industry leading benefits, including uncapped PTO, paid sabbaticals, amazing parental and family leave policies, and a variety of annual allowances and perks that allow employees to find better balance in their lives.
