Job description

Overview

Provides technical and process support for defined business systems or applications.  Provides assistance with applications, including testing.  Assists in developing and determining best practices.  Conducts research on an identified situation or opportunity related to technology and plans and proposes solutions, advocates processes, software and/or systems.  Ensures that the business standards and requirements are met.

We are looking for someone with experience in SaaS systems administration, ideally with experience supporting:
Online and mobile banking, Positive Pay, Dispute tracking and/or Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) platforms.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configures or customizes a system or system(s) for business use.
  • Implements changes following a defined process for system changes and tests business functionality.
  • Contact for troubleshooting problems or issues.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and presents recommendations.
  • Business lead for system(s) upgrades, fixs and patches, creating and managing test scripts process and issue resolution.
  • Creates and maintains system documentation and governance.
  • Conducts training as necessary.
  • Prepares reports supporting the proposed suggestions/recommendations leveraging existing technologies to improve process and reduce risk.
  • Assists BA with identifying areas for improvements and business issues through conversations, informal interactions, and observations.
  • Collaborates with LOB’s on recommendations, both for existing and new systems.
  • Participates in the execution/implementation process.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve a broad range of complex process and technical problems specific to business application(s).
  • Provides escalation to IT and other business lines as needed.
  • Monitor’s system health manages through system interruptions and works with vendors and business partners to manage system behavior, outages, and restoration.
  • Ability to perform some duties, such as system monitoring, implementations, or changes during nontraditional working hours.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in bank operations or similar IT experience.
  • Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic project management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Aptitude in understanding workflows and process mapping.
  • Leader as well as a team player with ability to foster good working relationships both with Bank Operations and across lines of business.
