Key Responsibilities

As a Full-time LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to each clientโ€™s unique needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring you address specific mental health challenges effectively.
  • Conducting therapy sessions with individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and family systems therapy to guide your approach.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions for various mental health challenges encompassing anxiety, depression, addiction, end-of-life issues, and social or interpersonal difficulties.
  • Delivering exceptional crisis management services to clients who are experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring immediate support and intervention when necessary.
  • Utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and tracking client progress while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic services will reach a diverse client population ranging from children to adults from various backgrounds, each bringing their own set of challenges and goals. Whether addressing familial disputes, individual mental health conditions, or offering support to children navigating their environments, your approach will be client-centered, focusing on empowerment and resilience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active LMFT license issued by the State of California.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in therapeutic practice, demonstrating a solid foundation in family systems and individual therapy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that facilitate rapport-building and effective client interactions.
  • Capacity to maintain professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
