The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That's why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense's resources can make the most impact.
As a financial analyst on our team, you'll create a financial management strategy to help science and technology portfolios succeed. You'll work with project management, and task leads to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you'll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management and task leads. This is your chance to work on high-level technology development while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, contract management, financial management, and budgeting
  • Experience working with SAP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system
  • Experience with commercial software packages, financial databases, and web or database applications, including Microsoft Office and MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate and effectively address complex issues both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and conduct meetings
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working with ONR financial processes, procedures and financial systems, including Navy ERP
  • Experience in managing technology programs
  • Knowledge of S&T portfolios
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
