This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, making it ideal for professionals looking to balance a rewarding career while enjoying the comforts of home. Our focus is on providing trauma-informed care in a detox center environment, where you will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their recovery journeys.

About the Organization

At River Edge Developmental, LLC, we are committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals facing various mental health challenges, especially those dealing with substance use disorders. Our practice is grounded in trauma-informed techniques, ensuring that we provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for every patient. Our multidisciplinary team values community, empathy, and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds, making it a rewarding place to work and grow professionally.

Work Environment

This role is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while you support patients through their recovery from the comfort of your own space. As part of a detox center, you will be collaborating closely with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff. Together, you will contribute to a treatment environment that prioritizes holistic health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans that consider their goals, needs, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) during consultations, both individually and in group settings.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and engage in consultations with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, continuous care for patients in acute distress.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of clinical progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to all clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Empower patients and their families by delivering psychoeducational content designed to equip them with skills and knowledge to manage mental health challenges effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing outcome assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and to adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Stay current with developments in the mental health field, incorporating new research and best practices into clinical work.
  • Uphold strict ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information vigilantly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients in a detox center who are navigating the complex challenges associated with substance use, alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. Our approach is tailored and culturally sensitive, addressing the unique needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You will have the opportunity to make impactful differences in the lives of people who are on the path to recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating the development of trusting relationships with patients from various cultural perspectives.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a detox, inpatient, or outpatient mental health or substance use treatment setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapy modalities.
  • Proven track record in crisis intervention and outcome measurement within clinical settings.
Compensation and Benefits
