Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our remote team at Timeless Counseling Center. In this full-time position, you will utilize your expertise to provide high-quality mental health support to a diverse range of clients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions both individually and in groups.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still providing an engaging and supportive virtual working environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings effectively throughout the client's treatment journey.
  • Develop personalized intervention strategies to address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions, employing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Monitor and assess client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create cohesive treatment strategies that prioritize client care.
  • Provide follow-up and support for clients transitioning to or from various care levels, including inpatient services if required.
  • Offer guidance to families and caregivers on strategies for managing mental health challenges effectively.
  • Manage referrals and coordinate additional services to ensure comprehensive client support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from various backgrounds and experience a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, relationship challenges, and various behavioral health concerns. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals and groups of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
  • A successful passing score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical mental health counseling, showcasing a deep understanding of therapeutic methodologies and client engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR, to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients dealing with complex physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
  • Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Insight into the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed by healthcare providers and their impact on mental health treatment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and foster client rapport.
  • A compassionate disposition and an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 and includes a sign-on bonus.
