• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the specific needs of clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in coordination with the clinical team to evaluate and monitor client progress effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation that meets all regulatory standards.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary teamwork to implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client care.
• Serve as a liaison to community partners and state agencies, advocating for client needs and program awareness.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to uphold the standards of our mission and contractual obligations.
• Represent our organization at community meetings and professional development events to promote our services and values.
• Participate in all accreditation processes while pursuing continuous professional enhancement opportunities.
• Report directly to the Clinic Director while executing additional duties as assigned, contributing to team goals and strategies.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Positive Harmony Pathways Counseling, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents grappling with emotional and psychological challenges, substance use disorders, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. You will apply a holistic approach that emphasizes individual strengths and resiliency, guiding clients through their unique recovery journeys.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is a must.

• Previous experience in a counseling role, particularly within outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and assessment tools applicable to mental health.
• Ability to engage effectively with clients from varying backgrounds and circumstances.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
