This position is designed to allow for flexibility and comfort, with a remote working arrangement that accommodates a full-time schedule. While you will primarily work from home, you will also engage in face-to-face client sessions in our outpatient office located in Thousand Oaks, California, fostering strong therapeutic relationships in both traditional and virtual environments.

• Deliver quality counseling services that meet the highest standards of care, ensuring client progress aligns with their established goals.
• Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including adherence to program certifications and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless communication regarding client needs and treatment plans.
• Document all client interactions accurately and promptly, including therapy notes, progress reports, and assessments, to uphold accountability and facilitate care continuity.
• Support clients in daily living activities by equipping them with practical skills tailored to their personal readiness and aspirations.
• Monitor and report client moods and behaviors, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and serve as an encouraging role model for clients.
• Assist clients with essential tasks such as shopping, meal planning, and cooking, while providing guidance and education as necessary.
• Manage medication prompts and reminders, ensuring timely refills and adherence while supporting proper medication management practices.
• Provide transportation assistance as needed, helping clients navigate public transportation systems and maintain necessary medical appointments.
• Oversee household supply management, ensuring clients have access to adequate resources within their living environments.

Our ideal candidate will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and those with differing mental health needs. The successful candidate will possess the following educational and licensing credentials:

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field.
• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent credential. Note: Associates licenses cannot be accepted as they are not billable through Medicare.
• Strong self-direction with the ability to work autonomously while still engaging in collaborative practices.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, to maintain documentation and communications effectively.

While not mandatory, the following experience will enhance your candidacy:

• Previous experience working with geriatric populations, demonstrating sensitivity to unique challenges in mental health among older adults.
• A background in fast-paced environments managing multiple clients simultaneously.
